for best effort I was trying for a very best she recognizes any type of mistakes if you make some she's able to overcome them and see it as a learning opportunity so congratulations third graders I happy to see all of you here yay I'm so excited to be giving out these Awards so let's get started our first award for being an outstanding leader is to miss Madeline Auto I thought ye I know Miss Madeline is in here cuz she's off celebrating mom's birthday but yay for now she has great Dakota and great fluency skills and she's been working really hard for her reading comprehension so congratulations Natalie our next award is for Miss Dania Martinez Martinez has been developing as a writer this past trimester this trimester we tackled our first fight paragraph essay and lasagna developed for five paragraphs and she did a beautiful job so thank you Miss by Mia Martinez for being an excellent writer yay for an award for outstanding math it shouldn't we have Miss Genesis Genesis demonstrated great Mastery of both the multiplication and division algorithm and now she's moving on to tackle in Geometry which is a big deal so ye Miss Genesis Canada next we have low award for outstanding scientist this student did an amazing job in our energy unit she constructed a roller coaster at home that demonstrate a potential and kinetic energy she worked on her bio on presentation and then created a website to share her knowledge with the rest of the group and this the excellent scientist award goes to miss Alexandra Hernandez CA a good job next we have our Trailblazer award so this student is the sweetest that can be he is very helpful if he knows he did something that might have been a little naughty in class he's always very respectful accepting responsibility this award goes the Trailblazer award award for being helpful goes to mr. Victor Hut Global yay Victor and last but not least Our Last Hope laser award goes to a stew that is the definition of responsible his picture should be in the dictionary complete all assignments is always present in class sometimes the has doctor's appointment dentist appointment and he's there up until the very last it on his phone and this Trailblazer award goes to mr. Caleb Kavanaugh so congratulations 4th grader there's a couple more awards that are going out later the principal's award so if you didn't hear your name sticker Outfitter good job everyone for my classroom you're a person. Omar here to give outs trimester to Awards I know that's I was absent for many of these weeks but yesterday was able to inform me of progress and the play Twerk that all the students were doing receive these Awards cell I'm just want to say congratulations first and foremost keep it up we have one more semester left keep on smiling keep on working first out would you have as our marvelous mathematician we do have Tyler Maldonado Tyler has done incredibly well multiplying fractions and decimals she's succeeded in solving real-world problems with fractions using tape diagrams things of that nature he has Tom really really in interpreting numerical expressions as well Tyler keep up the good work the great note-taking he follows along and just excellent on all of his the Tyler well done we do have Jesus Jesus is for overall MVP Most Valuable Player he is our academic scholar Jesus has really turned it on this semester across I'm in each subject he has done extremely well this is because of his his dedication and his ability to focus during so this is for Jesus outstanding work keep it up please a rising star this young lady in the beginning of the year she came in with very high expectation I had heard amazing things about that she did during dips morning she was not exactly performing to those standards she has absolutely turned it around she just absolutely could sell it. She was always great at first she was always she always had a great attitude but yeah Ida Rodriguez we we done a turn around every single assignment there is not any missing passport and her Focus. Which school has allowed her to perform very very well on all of her quiz so she is completely now exceeded my expectations continue to do outstanding work in this trimester so keep it up she also won participation engagement I can always expect her smile to bring her personality 2 overall just bring a lot of Joy of Painting when are class novel Wonder comprehended what's next on Once has all the features to fin-tastic Lee he continued than shoe well with our wonders unit route that the last couple of weeks and just with all the different he's a tremendous reader can use to shine Axel Axel Martinez is he is our that received being helpful or so Axel anything that we need as a class he is is going to help out axle thank you very much for all of your help he helps other students he helped myself up extremely helpful thank you very much and Eli Eli overall responsibility things this is trimester and axel has had little challenges and he has been used to to show up to class on time Freight out of continue to be a leader in the classroom and he is he's doing outstanding work outside of the classroom for his family was locked so very proud of Eli Eli is our Rising Star Award goes to Alyssa alright so those where Mister omers Awards we have any of mr. Let over there and still in her chili so it is still rocking your tongue nice to have one more one more fifth grade teacher and that is Miss Ortiz so let me get ready low Xterra family I am swissies in my I would like to point out that my second trimester awards are focus on studies I have made improvements on the first so my certificate of achievement and I have three so they go to is my next award is Phillip Fraser Award for best effort and that one goes to gender something and my last award goes to post a challenge or participation and engagement thank you a lo siento San foca in Sacramento Rising Sun who went to get a secret Spa, Coronado Hispanic Orlando Ibarra party percent 84 alright so congratulations to those of you and Miss Ortiz class. Got something for little puppies 100 they're not little by little. just wanted to say congratulations to you guys too. So they were barking again so now we are onto the principal Awards and as you know like we did last time I know it has been very very hard for a lot of you doing distance learning I know it's been very challenging for art kindergarteners that have never been to school at Xterra but you're still doing distance learning at you know on Zoom at your house so thank you all of you for doing such great work it makes me it makes me very happy to see and hear from your teachers about how awesome you're doing it it really goes to show that that you guys have not only you know a great mind and that you're all very very smart but also that you have a good strong character is meaning that you're very able to deal with everything that's going on right now and still make the best of it and that's what's important you know seeing you guys smile seen you guys celebrate those things are all really really important to continue to do every single day so I hope that if you got an award even if you didn't get an award that you take the time to thank your parents give your parents a hug thank you for helping you while you're at home tell your brothers and sisters thank you for for working with you while you're at home because I know sometimes they can be loud you guys have to let you know show respect to each other while you're working and make sure when you get a chance to also thank your teachers because it's been very hard and different for them too so I'm very very proud of all of you so with that Jean said let's get to these principal award so these principles awards are two to celebrate students who are participating in class or that have done a better job participating in class showing up to class answering questions like I said I know it's hard and some of us are shy but you know we still have to do our best so it's all set.
